Thomas Walenta has worked on projects, programs, and PMOs since 1974 and se-lected Project Management as his profession in 1988. He holds PMP and PgMP certifications. Thomas worked for IBM clients in diverse industries and geographies for 31 years. In parallel, he served as a volunteer since 1998, as PMI Chapter President, and as PMI Board Director. He received the PMI Fellow award in 2012.

Cloud Go-Live Manager at Guidewire Software,24 Feb 2026 at 10:17 amHi, I gave exam last week on tuesday for IPM AI. Still haven’t received result/ certificate or any update. Does anyone know how long it takes?

Results are typically released within about 10 days after the exam. The good news is that they’re ready and scheduled to be shared today, so you should receive an update shortly.

I work in the supply chain in renewable energy and manage the resourcing for wind farm surveys.
I am really looking forward to getting stuck in and welcome any advice.

Creative thinking.
Leadership.
Curiosity.
Empathy.AI will get faster at execution.
But it won’t replace judgment under uncertainty, stakeholder alignment, or ethical trade-offs.For project management, this means the bar rises.
PMs who rely purely on process is going to struggle.
PMs who combine systems thinking with influence and commercial acumen is going to thrive.This shows that the profession isn’t shrinking t’s actually maturing.
