I am a newer project manager, taking my knowledge of government infrastructure into the nonprofit sector. I’m especially interested in helping small nonprofits formalize project plans, both to increase their chances of success and to help make a solid business case to prospective funders.

Program Manager at Private,20 Aug 2025 at 02:38 pm

Hello world. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.

  • Do your projects align with your organisation’s long-term goals—or are they just checking boxes?

The difference lies in strategic planning. The six foundational elements—vision, objectives, analysis, strategy, execution, and evaluation—create cohesion between mission and outcomes. Without them, even the best-managed projects risk becoming disconnected efforts.

Understanding this structure allows project professionals to influence the bigger picture and contribute directly to strategic success. It’s not just about managing projects—it’s about leading change.

Build your strategy capability today: https://instituteprojectmanagement.com/courses/strategic-project-programme-management-diploma/?utm_source=membership&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=strategic+planning_20aug2025
