Asen Conev is a seasoned executive leader with 15+ years of expertise in project management. He specialises in leveraging project management and portfolio oversight to drive transformative business changes and strategy execution. He also specialises in establishing and leading high-performance PMOs from the ground up, predominantly in the Technology and IT sectors.
At its core, Agile is about delivering value early and often, collaborating closely with customers, and adapting quickly to change.
Created in 2001 by a group of software developers, the Agile Manifesto was a response to rigid, traditional project management methods that often failed to adapt to change or meet real user needs.

Balancing time, cost, scope, and increasingly sustainability or stakeholder expectations requires constant decision-making, often with incomplete information.
It seems that the real value of project management is not only in planning, but in making the right decisions under pressure and adapting when conditions change.
I’m interested to see how others approach decision-making in complex or uncertain project environments.

1 LikeHi Sarika, That’s a great question — this is something I’ve been thinking about a lot with remote work becoming the norm.
For me, the most valuable short workshops would be:
• Clear communication & feedback — especially in virtual teams where tone and intent can easily get lost
• Deep work & focus strategies — managing distractions at home is still a real challenge
• Stress & energy management — not just avoiding burnout, but sustaining performance long-term
