What I’m taking away from GITEX Almaty: companies across countries and industries are no longer asking if AI fits project management. They’re asking how.

Over two days we spoke with PMOs, CIOs and operators from USA, UK, EU, UAE, KSA, Egypt, South Korea, China and India. Industries spanned oil & gas, mining, construction, telecom, banking, insurance and software development.

The pattern is clear. PM teams in regulated, complex environments are actively looking for ways to bring AI into delivery. Not as another assistant that types faster, but as something that actually moves work forward.

That’s why we’re building Agesta AI: next-generation AI for managing projects, with a dedicated AI agent for every aspect of delivery.

Curious to hear from this community: what AI use cases are getting prioritized inside your PMOs right now?

If you’d like to compare notes or see what we’re building, my DMs are open. Or book a time directly. Link in the comments.

    𝟮𝟱%.

That’s the share of project manager time spent gathering information and preparing various documents: charters, risk registers, WBS, status reports, lessons learned.

On a large project that’s dozens to hundreds of hours of routine work that repeats from project to project.

On April 28 I’m running a closed webinar for PMs and PMOs.

I’ll walk through and demonstrate how specialized AI agents generate quality project documents across the full lifecycle.

All documents are branded for your company and pass multi-layer quality control. Your workload drops by 80-90%.

We’ll also cover why popular AI services like ChatGPT don’t deliver consistent quality. And why a general-purpose chatbot isn’t enough for serious project work.

    Date: Tue, April 28, 17:00 Dubai / 14:00 London
    Language: English
    No recording will be available.

For live attendees only: two gifts. I’ll announce them during the event.

One shift separates top performers from everyone else.

That was the core message of my talk at Nomads of Digital Era last Saturday — held at the University of International Business (UIB) — where I spoke about how professionals in any field or industry can achieve much stronger results when they combine modern methodologies, practices, and emerging technologies, including agentic AI, in the way they work.

Thank you to the Toastmasters International team for organizing the event at UIB, and to PMI Kazakhstan Chapter for the invitation to speak.

Strong international lineup, sharp audience, honest questions. Great to connect with fellow professionals, exchange experience, and share insights.

I unpacked this thesis in much more depth in a long-form article I published yesterday — covering the data, the three levels of AI adoption, and what the top 1% actually do differently. Link in comments.

Grateful for the recognition and the conversations that followed.

    𝟭%.

That’s the share of professionals who use AI in a way that produces dramatically better results.

    The other 99% are watching.

I spent 3 weeks researching why — across 45+ sources from PMI, PwC, McKinsey, BCG, Stanford, NBER, and Science journal.

My findings in the article below.
