Founder & CEO at Agesta AI,25 May 2026 at 02:30 pmRan a 40-minute masterclass at the PMI Kazakhstan Project Professionals Summit on Friday in Almaty. Topic: how autonomous AI agents are changing project management.
The session walked the room through what AI actually delivers for project management today. Real possibilities, real risks, and the scenarios where bringing it in is worth it.
Also covered the evolution of PM tooling. AI is the next frontier of the profession. In five years the discipline will likely run on a new approach to managing projects, and probably need a new term to describe it.
Participants didn’t just listen. They tested AI agents on their own projects in real time. Three questions came up:
How does AI actually understand our business and our project?
Why can we trust it?
Can we build our own agents? That’s where the conversation needs to be.
Big thanks to the PMI Kazakhstan Chapter for the invitation, and to everyone in the room for the questions and the conversation.
Curious how this lands with the…

Founder & President at Innovation Elegance, LLC,22 May 2026 at 01:36 pmDoes your organization take a formal stance on VUCA? I believe it should. 😊
Here’s how I see the culture choice:
A. Proactively pro-VUCA. Executives are agents of chaos.
B. Proactively anti-VUCA. Executives are agents of poise.
C. Passive about VUCA. Executives play victim to culture shapers, who evidently reside outside the company.
D. ______________________ (did I miss a fourth option?)
If you are in the software-centric agile/hybrid stalemate, that decides for you. 😊
In the attached slide, which term describes your culture most easily? Which term would you love to pursue?

Early Wins: The Most Misread Signal in Transformation instituteprojectmanagement.com1 Comment0 LikeThis is a fantastic read, Victor. Confusing an early win (an event) with a sustainable impact (a capability) is a trap I see often in Monitoring and Evaluation. If a success relies entirely on a few highly committed individuals rather than an integrated, automated tracking system, it is doomed to fade. We have to design systems that make exceptional results repeatable. Thanks for sharing this insight

15 May 2026 at 09:00 amThe RACI Matrix is the one of the most popular tools among project managers. It is used to clarify the roles and responsibilities of team members for each task and decision throughout the project.
RACI Chat is a simple spreadsheet or table that lists all project stakeholders and their level of involvement in each task, represented by R, A, C, or I.
Once these roles are well defined, the team members can delegate the tasks and begin the work. Get our RACI Template now https://instituteprojectmanagement.com/blog/responsibility-matrix-template/?utm_source=ipm+hub&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=raci+matrix_15may2026
