Hey everyone, I’m excited to join this forum and connect with fellow project management enthusiasts! My name is Markus Kopko, and I’ve been navigating the world of project and program management for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I’ve had the chance to work on strategic programs, governance, and benefits management – but what really drives me is staying ahead of where the profession is headed next. That’s why my current focus is on AI in project, program, and portfolio management (PPM). I’m a Certified AI Transformation Lead (C-AITL) and actively involved in shaping the future of AI in our field, including as part of the Core Development Team for the upcoming Standard on AI in PPM. I strongly believe AI will revolutionize the way we manage projects – not by replacing us, but by empowering us to make better, data-driven decisions. Beyond AI, I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others grow in their PM careers. I’ve contributed to the PMBoK Guide 7th Edition Review Team and love discussing everything from PMI certifications to real-world PM challenges.
