  • An effective manager is a role model, but this is easier said than done; in some cases, you must challenge the status quo to create change. It’s about inspiring people, motivating people, and creating new thinking. To do that, you need to be able to plan methodically, communicate well, and identify, motivate and reward effective behaviours in others. To be a good manager, you need good planning skills, which are likely to centre on objectives. During my university years, I had several experiences abroad, combining study and work. After graduating in European and Non-European Languages (Eastern sector), with a thesis in computational linguistics for the Arabic language, I started working as an administrative assistant for the University of Pisa. In 2013, I moved to Florence to work as a translator for Smallcodes s.r.l., a company that deals with language policies and IT resources for minority languages. Over the years, I have expanded my knowledge and skills and currently work independently on numerous projects involving the development of language software, teaching materials, e-learning platforms and digital archives for minority languages, as well as other product sectors. I have also acquired skills in digital marketing, SEO and web graphics. As part of my work, I have also undertaken various external collaborations as a SEO consultant and copywriter in various companies, which have allowed me to learn about… Read more

This sounds like a fascinating discussion — especially as AI starts to play a more tangible role in project delivery and decision-making.

I’ve seen firsthand how even small integrations of AI-driven tools (for task automation, reporting, or content analysis) can transform cross-functional collaboration — freeing teams to focus on higher-value work and strategy.

I’m particularly interested in exploring how “agentic AI” might help strengthen project governance — improving visibility across vendor ecosystems, predicting risks, and supporting more data-informed decisions.

Really looking forward to hearing diverse perspectives at the roundtable.

Exciting topic! The partnership between humans and AI is redefining how projects are managed, making teams smarter, faster, and more adaptable. The key is balance: letting AI handle data and insights while humans lead with judgment and creativity.

Looking forward to the discussion on how this collaboration shapes the future of project delivery.
