Designation at Turner & Townsend, 27 May 2025 at 02:21 pmHi, Ciaran here, I have worked in the construction industry for over 25 years and have gained experience from a wide variety of roles through the years. I started my career as an apprentice carpenter, qualified, and after a few years on the tools, moved up to Foreman, then to site manager. We moved overseas to help rebuild Christchurch after the earthquakes where I gained more valuable experience. While there I moved from site manger to operations manager. Since coming back to Ireland 4 years ago, I have worked as project manager on quite a diverse range of projects. Whilst my experience in the construction industry has proven to be one of my strong points, I find myself lacking some the technical skills required and am looking forward to learning from this course and group!
