This is a fantastic read, Victor. Confusing an early win (an event) with a sustainable impact (a capability) is a trap I see often in Monitoring and Evaluation. If a success relies entirely on a few highly committed individuals rather than an integrated, automated tracking system, it is doomed to fade. We have to design systems that make exceptional results repeatable. Thanks for sharing this insight
